More than anything, we hate to add more rules because we like the board to be as laid back as possible.

But! All we ask in return for posting here is that you know and follow our rules. That's ALL. We don't delete pictures because of the subject matter, and we don't censor your opinions. Your picture will only be removed if it breaks a rule. If you think your picture has been deleted, check under "My Pictures" to see if someone has been merciful and marked your picture as "Unfinished."

Failure to follow the rules and comply with the mods
will result in picture deletion, GALLERY deletion, banning,
and all points in between.

Rule #1:
We act like adults here in conduct. If you're not an adult, at least think like one here. Be aware of the possibility that you might be viewing offensive/adult content that may require parental discretion; we are NOT responsible for YOU or YOUR KIDS. (Yes, that means you can draw WHATEVER you want. ^o~)

Rule #52:
Effort in your pics is preferred, and will be the deciding factor as to whether or not your picture will be removed. If you're a seasoned artist and draw great sketches, you'll be fine, but if you have any doubts as to whether or not you are advanced, here's our basic rule (stick to it):

If your picture has taken under 20 minutes to draw, it'll most likely be deleted.

If your picture is a continuation of your older pic (older = no longer on the front page; front page = the first 25 pics) the total time from the first and second version will be taken into account, don't worry. ^^ On that note, please use the "refine" option to make changes to any pictures that appear on the front page

Concerning "color/continue-me" pictures: If you make/contribute to one of these pictures, you are NOT exempt from this rule. The same amount of effort is expected of your lineart/picture.

Rule #321.556:
Do not post a picture to ask a question, as a request for help, or to contact a mod. The "draw" area is for drawings. It was allowed before, but we have forums for that now. :3

We understand it's only human to converse and that's fine; use common sense on what kind of comments you post on pictures vs. the forum.

Rule #39 1/2:
Do not flood the board.

Rule #4:
If you are asked to be polite, you've done something wrong. Whining about how your picture sucks and you're the worst artist ever, or about how you don't get comments are good examples of what is irritating. If you act like an ass, don't cry if you're treated like one.

On that note, everyone else, stop and think before flinging venom. ^o~

Note: If you break the rules because did not read them here, you are scum, will be treated as such, and it will be condoned here.

Rule #4-8-12-16
If your picture is not finished, mark it as unfinished. If you don't know how to do that, read up on how the board works.

The mods are mods because they understand the rules. Think about that before you start screaming.
